"MOE (The Ministry of Education )" Announcing the adjustment of English Proficiency Standards for Chinese Teaching Proficiency Certification Examination
In order to encourage people to obtain a certificate in Chinese teaching, MOE requires English proficiency standard should be adjusted to TOEFL iBT 71 or higher, IELTS 5.5 or higher, and TOEIC 750 or higher.
